Welcome back to visitors Welcome back to visitors. We are delighted to be able to welcome back visitors to the sanctuary – it has been a long time since March 2020 when Covid 19 hit and with work having now been completed on the renovation of our horse barn the site is back to being suitable to host visits. Since March 2022 we have continued to rescue and rehome many animals but we have missed seeing our supporters old and new on site. Along with the barn renovations we have also created a new memorial garden and “The Lin Dutton Room” named after one of our trustees who recently passed away after being heavily involved with the sanctuary for many years – so we have been busy through our forced closure! From June 26th 2022 we will be opening for visitors Sunday – Wednesday from 12 noon until 3pm. We will remain closed on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays as on these days, our volunteers need uninterrupted time to manage our rescue and rehoming process. We will have extra volunteers on site to show you round and we expect it will take around 20/30 mins to look at our animals. Please remember we are a working sanctuary and staff will be doing jobs whilst you are here. Whilst you will see our lovely animals who are looking for new homes our rehoming journey starts on line and some animals you see will have appointments booked. So if adoption is something you are considering please complete one of our adoption enquiry forms and of course the adoption process will involve more in- depth visits to see the animals. Whilst there is no charge to look around please remember that we survive purely on donations and fundraising activities and so your contributions will be greatly appreciated. Please pop down and see us - we look forward to having you back! Manage Cookie Preferences
